"I start every morning with hot water with lemon, as I advise all my clients and followers to do! It's a great way to start the day on an up. Lemons support liver tissue, and are full of enzymes and vitamin C, while the hot water helps relax your gut and promotes more complete cleansing. I also religiously take two of my Probiotics and my Aloe Vera juice, which I believe are one of the keys to ultimate nutrient absorption, energy, and good skin.
After my hot lemon water, the first thing in my body is my Glowing Green juice or smoothie (usually a juice). One serving of my green smoothie has over 9 grams of fiber. The fiber helps keep me full and gives me energy all morning. In a juicer/blender, toss a handful of kale, 1/2 cucumber, a handful of dandelion greens (if you can get them), 1/3 peeled lemon, 1/3 green apple, 1/4-inch piece of fresh ginger root, and a inch of cayenne pepper. Blend with ice, and add water as needed. I don't typically have any caffeine in the morning— however when I get to the clinic I will always have a green tea and love it! It is packed with antioxidants which are famous cancer fighters and excellent for preventing premature ageing!
If I don't feel like a juice or smoothie I will have porridge raw, or quiona porridge, with seeds and berries! If I don't feel like any of the above I would just have half an avocado and some berries. It really depends on how I fell like each morning!
I love (love) lentils and quiona and have them in some form daily. If I don't have them in my salad sprouted I will have then in a curry or lentil stew or just grab a hand full of them sprouted on the go! They are packed with nutrients and contain as much protein as a piece of steak! (without all the hormones!)
I aim to make it to bed between 10pm - 10.30pm. Before bed I always do another 30 mins of meditation and write in my gratitude list. Sleep - wake up and be so so grateful I have three health children, a great job to go to and all the other little things, good and not so good that pop up in my day" Thanks for reading. Yvonne x x
